![]() ![]() ![]() I am actually pretty darned calm right now and I have found that over the years I have a long history of being right on these types of things even though people like you continuously criticize what I say. You have no idea of what mindset I am in when I write anything. Like I said, you are the one here being immature. If I want to come on here and state my feelings I have the right to do so. Last I checked I have the right to say what I want. How am I not supposed to think you’re biased, irrational and angry? Maybe Nintendo offered them a more appealing advertising deal with their recent trend of spotlighting indies.īut really, you clicked on a self-explanatory article just to leave a comment whining about it. It might be cheaper to put it on the eShop than PSN. Nintendo might have offered to help with the port as they’ve done before with some other little projects. There’s probably a lot more going on behind the scenes. ![]() But you’re pretending to understand the market better the developers and criticizing them for porting the game to the console of their choice. I’d understand if you just wanted it to come to your console so you could play it. I don’t even know why you’re complaining as you you’ve mentioned you already have the game on Steam. “waste your time on the scraps like the Wii U” This is where your cries of ‘common sense’ and ‘not angry’ ring hollow. There’s also less competition for traffic on the eShop, because as you said yourself, indie games on PSN are becoming a dime a dozen. Nintendo fans tend to like games with inventive premises, a retro style and an emphasis on appealing art design over raw graphic fidelity. Like I said, indie platformers sell well on the Wii U. Just so long as their next target isn’t the Ouya. I can’t imagine it wouldn’t do well on the Playstation and Xbox families. Hopefully the dev isn’t stuck on just Wii U and realizes it will sell on other platforms as well. Start playing with either of the other two characters and that becomes apparent almost immediately. Everybody I show it to immediately states that it is Sonic without Sonic and that is only really true to an extent with Lylac. So long as the dev can get the idea that this is a “Sonic Clone” (which it is not) out of their heads. The game was one of my favorite games last year and I am pretty confident it would sell no matter what platform it is on. Even the Vita could run this with its eyes closed most likely. I understand the system CAN run it just fine but then again so can every other console on the market now except the 3DS. I want the writer of the article to articulate exactly what he means. My main question in the whole thing was simply what makes the Wii U any better than other platforms. ![]()
